LHE Technology, Light & Heat Energy, first developed by Radiancy in 1998, is the singular most efficient form of phototherapy in medical and aesthetic field today. LHE advances the principles of selective photothermolysis by utilizing the dual energy pathways of light and heat.
Wrinkles, age spots, sun spots and spider veins – medically known as rhytides and
pigmented and vascular lesions, are outward manifestations of aging or sun damaged skin. Once accepted as a fact of growing older, these skin imperfections can now be safely and easily
treated.
A comprehensive skin rejuvenation treatment may include several treatment goals
simultaneously; the improvement of fine lines and skin texture and the removal of age spots and spider veins. LHE has demonstrated a clinically proven ability to safely deliver more youthful looking
skin and a high level of client satisfaction.
Acne is a serious, often heartbreaking condition. Nearly 80% of people
will suffer from acne at some point in their lives. For some, it is simply annoying. For others, acne is a problem with an often negative impact. Now, light-based phototherapy treatments for acne
offer hope to millions of sufferers unwilling or unable to take systemic medications.
A disease of the pilosebaceous glands, acne can be hard to treat. Many of acne medications,
ranging from over-the-counter (OTC) to prescription, are expensive and may cause unwanted side effects. They generally require several months of continuous treatment and many patients have limited
or no response.
When treating acne, time is of the essence. LHE works fast, offering a complete treatment in 30 days
compared with the 6–18 months usually required for systemic treatment. LHE’s addition of heat intensifies the chemical process and speeds overall treatment time. The patient often looks and feels
better within 2 weeks of starting treatment.
LHE Acne Phototherapy is used by over 50% of all practitioners worldwide who administer acne phototherapy.
LHE is a no-compromise solution for acne which displays excellent clinical results and safe for all skin types. A unique combination of red light, green light and heat deliver unmatched clinical
results for acne clearance. Patients have experienced up to 90% clearance of acne lesions after a 4 week/8 session treatment course and most patients remained acne-free 3-6 months after
treatment.
Laser hair removal is no longer a marketing buzzword. With advances in
technology and lowering costs, the LHE (Light Heat Energy) hair removal is the new photoepilation choice of aestheticians.
LHE light-based hair removal answers the needs of our clients. Its low energy levels create an ultra-safe treatment that requires minimal if any preparation or skin cooling. The number of
monthly treatments depends on the targeted area, with most areas requiring 5–10 sessions for effective and lasting hair removal.
LHE targets the melanin in the hair shaft, and then converts light to heat inside the follicle. The heat damages the bulge and the root, inhibiting and often preventing future hair
growth.
To bring down the energy levels and increase safety, LHE relies on the synergetic relationship between Light and Heat to create an efficient photo thermal technique. With its unique light and heat
combination, LHE maximizes the heat effect on the follicle without damaging the surrounding tissue.
FAQ:
Is it permanent?
Clients will experience a certain percentage of permanent hair loss, usually between 15 and 30 percent of what is treated with each visit.
Is it safe?
A skilled technician will offer the safest treatment with the least amount of skin reaction and advise the client on aftercare instructions that address any complications following treatment. If
there are some minor side effects that occur, most of these can be dealt with by the client at home.
Is the treatment painful?
Most clients find the treatment to be extremely tolerable. For others who may experience a slight discomfort, we recommend the application of a topical anesthetic like Ela-Max or Emla prior to
treatment.
Will my skin be red and swollen?
There is little or no irritation or discomfort after treatment and clients often come in on their lunch hour.
How many treatments will I need?
In the majority of cases, 5 to 10 treatments are necessary. Hair grows in cycles, so clients who are tweezing frequently may need frequent treatments for the first 3 months (every 2 or 3 weeks) so
that we can be sure to treat all of the underlying growth at least once during a three month period. Areas that have not been tweezed or waxed can be scheduled at 6 to 8 week intervals.
Do I have to let the hair grow out before a treatment?
Shaving is fine, but you will have to discontinue tweezing. We need to shave the area prior to treatment anyway, so unlike waxing, the area can be shaved between visits.
